A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school in Hyde are looking to appoint an energetic and creative teacher with high expectations who is looking to make a genuine difference and make a positive impact. They are looking for a KS1 teacher who is hard working and nurturing to join their 3 form entry staff team and contribute towards the quality first teaching that their school provides.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to build positive and effective relationships with children and staff.

• Be flexible and have strength of character and resilience.

• Have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

• Be an approachable and caring individual with integrity.

• Be creative in their lesson planning, ensuring all children are engaged at all times.

Requirements for the vacancy:

• Recognised teaching qualification PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).

• DBS on the update service or be willing to get one.

• Relevant Key Stage experience is desirable but not essential.

• Ability to work effectively in a team.

• Some experience of working with and planning for children with additional needs.

• Effective behaviour management strategies.
