Key Stage 1 TA

A large 2 form entry primary school in South Manchester, Wythenshawe (M22) is searching for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to begin working on a full time basis after the May half term. Teaching Personnel are working as a recruitment partner alongside the school to help with the recruitment for the position.

The South Manchester Primary school has stated that they are looking for an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to work across both year 1 and 2 classes leading phonics intervention groups. Ideally the right candidate for the role will have previous experience with leading Phonics intervention groups. The groups the school will be expecting the candidate to lead will be ranging in abilities. Sometimes you will be leading small high ability groups of around 4-6 pupils and on other occasions you will be leading the lower ability pupils.

The Primary school graded “GOOD” in their most recent Ofsted report in 2018 has excellent senior leadership and standards of teachers throughout the school. The candidate that is successful in starting the role will not be short of support and guidance from current members of staff in the school.
