Teaching Personnel are working alongside a client Secondary School in Salford who is currently recruiting for an Inclusion Teaching Assistant after October half term 2019.

Within this role you will be required to support the learning and engagement of pupils that are at risk of permanent exclusion from school.

The school wish to appoint an Inclusion Teaching Assistant who holds previous experience supporting the behaviour and learning of pupils or young people. This mixed secondary school has a high number of students with Pupil premium where they are funded for extra support. The school also has a high number of students with SEN and has recently added a new ASC provision to its facilities.

  • Full time Inclusion Teaching Assistant.
  • October 2019 – July 2020, with the potential of this being extended to a permanent contract if successful.
  • Delivering resources and supporting the learning of individuals within the school inclusion unit.
  • Earn GBP1100-GBP1300 per month.

Our client school, located in Salford, wish to expand their support team due to an increase in the amount of pupils who are at risk of exclusion. This is the ideal opportunity for anyone with previous experience supporting secondary pupils within an education setting, to have a positive impact on the learning of ‘harder to reach’ pupils.

To be considered for this Inclusion Teaching Assistant role, you must meet the following application requirements;

  • Previous experience working within secondary schools/youth and community support work or other transferrable skills to work with young people.
  • Be able to build positive working relationships with pupils and be able to raise aspirations of those who often struggle to engage within school.
  • Hold the ability to diffuse disruptive behaviour and be a role model to individual pupils.

Our client school is located near Salford with a number of public transport links close by, making the school accessible from many areas across Greater Manchester. The school is also accessible via the M60 and A57 for those applicants who have their own vehicle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
