ICT Teacher

Full Time

Teaching Personnel are looking for an ICT Teacher that holds a UK QTS, to join a school in Windsor that caters for pupils with social emotional mental health needs. They require a teacher who can work full time and teach up to GCSE. 

Due to the needs of the students the school requires a resilient teacher who ideally has taught in a pupil referral unit or SEN school previously. However, the school are more than willing to consider taking on an ICT Teacher from a mainstream background, as long as you’re up for a challenge. 

Class sizes at the provision are small and all students will be supported by highly experienced learning support assistant, who are trained to offer emotional and academic support to students. 

Job role

  • Supporting students to develop skills and knowledge to allow them to take on further education and training
  • Planning and preparing resources for each lesson based on the national curriculum
  • Assessing students’ progress throughout the academic year to ensure they are on track to achieving a GCSE in ICT
  • Working closely with the SENCO and SEN professionals to ensure students get the right emotional support
  • Safeguarding students in accordance with the school’s policies

The school are ideally looking for an ICT Teacher to start after the Easter holidays however will wait if they find the right candidate who is unable to start immediately.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
