English Teachers – Flexible Work with Fast Progression to Long-Term Roles
Pay: £130–£200 per day
Location: Secondary school in Leeds
Employment type: Day-to-day supply with strong potential for long-term role

English is consistently in demand across Bristol, so these initial bookings often progress into longer-term roles. Many teachers step into ongoing English posts within weeks, and sometimes immediately once cleared. Your subject expertise, combined with our strong local relationships, puts you in a great position from day one.
What the Role Involves
• Teach KS3 and KS4 English
• Deliver pre-planned lessons while you look for a long-term planning and marking role
• Support pupils with reading, writing and analytical skills
• Adapt confidently to different schools and classrooms

Who We’re Looking For
• UK QTS or equivalent
• Specialism in English Language, English Literature, or both
• Strong behaviour management
• Calm, adaptable and well organised
• A positive, professional approach to new environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
