Sports Coaches and PE Teachers Needed in Leeds 

We are working with a wide mix of secondary schools across Leeds who are seeking energetic, inspiring, and confident PE educators to join them from January 2026. Whether you are a qualified PE Teacher, a sports graduate taking your first step into education, or a coach who knows how to motivate young people, this role may be of interest to you.

• Unqualified educators, including coaches, sports graduates, and people with strong youth or mentoring experience

The Role

You’ll deliver engaging, active, and inclusive PE lessons that get pupils moving and build confidence. Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

• Leading PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Supporting practical sessions, team sports, fitness, and outdoor activities

• Helping run extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities

• Encouraging teamwork, resilience, and a positive sporting ethos

• Contributing to safe, structured and enthusiastic learning environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
