ICT Teacher
Manchester
Due to staffing requirements, Teaching Personnel are seeking a forward thinking teacher of ICT to join a vibrant secondary school in South Manchester from February 2020. The successful ICT teacher will be required after the February half term until the end of the academic year with the potential to earn a permanent school contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a motivated, successful school.
We are looking for a passionate teacher who has a track record of positive impact upon student outcomes and knowledge and experience of teaching KS3 and GCSE ICT. The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging KS3 and GCSE lessons to mixed ability groups across years 7 – 11. The school has high expectations for all students and therefore, we are looking for a teacher of ICT who has excellent teaching and learning and will be able to enable the best outcomes for all students. The ability to also teach Computer Science is also desirable.
Highlights of this ICT post:
- Full time role commencing February 2020 with the opportunity to earn a permanent contract
- Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
- Delivering KS3 and GCSE ICT across the age range and abilities
- Introduction to a vibrant secondary school in East Manchester – 20 minute drive from the city centre and also accessible from Stockport and Tameside.
The successful ICT teacher will join a multi-cultural and multi-faith academy, committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all students. The school is located just a short drive from the city centre and can be easily accessed from the surrounding areas of Tameside and Stockport.
