Our client secondary school is looking to recruit an ICT teacher for an upcoming open teaching vacancy following the October half term. This school is located in the heart of Tameside making it very easy to get to via the M60 ring road or for those on public transport, the school is a short walk away from the local train station. The successful ICT teacher is required on a full time basis to fulfil this open vacancy teaching on a supply basis until April with the view to securing a school based contract if applicable. The successful teacher is required to start with this school following the October half term.

Highlights of this ICT teaching position:

  • Full time ICT teacher required, starting on Monday 28th October following the half term break
  • Pay will be dependent upon payscale but between £23,720 - £39406 (older payscales used as reference MPS1 - UPS3)
  • Teach within a highly supportive Computing department, gaining the opportunity to network and work alongside a committed team of professionals
  • Opportunity to progress and secure a school based contract

The school is therefore looking for a teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner and puts the students' learning at the centre of all their teaching. The ICT department at this highly supportive secondary school has the latest technology at the disposal of the successful ICT teacher. The ICT department has 3 suites in which there are whiteboards, smart boards and the latest computing equipment.

The school is situated in the Tameside area, easily accessible via the M60 ring road. If you are travelling from the Tameside area or further afield, the local train station is serviced regularly from the city centre. The school also has a large on site car park for the use of all staff with plenty of space.
