Teaching Personnel are working with a number of schools in the Sheffield, Chesterfield and Worksop areas who are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join their team. You must hold a degree, or equivalent for this role.
We are looking for someone who is confident to lead a classroom and deliver pre-planned lessons to the whole class. You must be able to show good behaviour management skills, as you will be responsible for the whole class. As a HLTA, you may also be expected to take small groups and deliver tailored interventions to accelerate progress, or move across key stages and classrooms to cover where needed in school. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working across Key Stages as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA, who is now looking for that next step. You will have a good understanding of expectations within Primary settings and be able to motivate and inspire pupils.
