History Teacher

Job description

Are you an enthusiastic History Teacher looking for your new Teaching post?

Are you looking for work starting in January 2020?

Teaching Personnel has an Ideal role for you!

Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a secondary school in the Nelson area to recruit a History Teacher, to start in January 2020, for a maternity leave running through until the end of the academic year (possibly a full 12 months).

The school has exceptionally high standards for both pupil behaviour in school and attitudes to learning. For a candidate to be considered they should be able to uphold these high standards in their own teaching. Teachers who have previously taught in the school always describe the excellent staff atmosphere in school.

A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering history up to  GCSE level. The school follows AQA science at GCSE level, so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential.

If you feel that you would be suitable for this role then make your application by sending your CV and contact details. If you would like to find out more, contact Rob at Teaching Personnel Preston Secondary

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
