Join Teaching Personnel as a Secondary School History Teacher – Twickenham and Surrounding Areas

Location: Twickenham and surrounding boroughs (Richmond, Hounslow, Kingston, etc.)
Job Type: Flexible Supply – Full-time, Part-time, and Ad Hoc roles available
Salary:  (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Ongoing – Immediate starts available

Are you a passionate and adaptable History teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Secondary School History Teachers to support our partner schools in Twickenham and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school environments, perfect for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their classroom practice.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective History lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

  • Quickly adapt to new school settings and engage effectively with pupils

  • Provide support and continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Opportunities for regular work, including block bookings and short/long-term placements

About You:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification

  • Confident teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to a variety of school environments

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A genuine passion for working with young people and contributing to their learning

  • Child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
