Flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wigan
Location: Wigan
Start Date: Immediate and September 2025 starts available
Daily Rate: £105 – £140 (paid weekly via PAYE)

Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant seeking more flexibility in your working week? Teaching Personnel is working in collaboration with a number of primary schools across Wigan to provide short-term and day-to-day opportunities for skilled HLTAs. These positions are perfect for those looking to gain a variety of experience across different age groups, without the pressure of a long-term contract.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recognised HLTA qualification or significant classroom experience delivering lessons.
  • Confidence in leading whole-class sessions and adapting to new environments.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach.
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
