About the Role:
As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting students across Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them overcome barriers to learning. Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students with additional needs.
-
Assist students in developing their English and Maths skills.
-
Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
-
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt lessons and activities.
-
Build trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), is highly desirable.
-
Confident in supporting learning across various subjects, including English and Maths.
-
Patient, empathetic, and capable of building strong, positive relationships with students.
-
Flexible, reliable, and committed to supporting the educational and personal development of students.
-
Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a genuine impact in a dynamic school environment.
