Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Specialist SEN Setting – Manchester

Location: BL9 

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?

A well-established specialist provision is seeking a confident and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across small classes and targeted intervention groups.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who thrives on responsibility and wants to make a measurable impact on pupil progress.

The role:

  • Leading small group learning sessions

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD and MLD

  • Providing 1:1 intervention and academic support

  • Working closely with teaching and therapy staff

We are looking for:

  • HLTA status or significant experience at Level 3/4 TA

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Confidence leading a classroom

  • A proactive and flexible approach

  • Full-time availability

This role is ideal for:

  • Experienced TAs ready to step up

  • HLTAs seeking a long-term position

  • Graduates with extensive school-based SEN experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
