Health and Social Care Tutor

Due to a temporary gap, one of our client sixth form colleges in Greater Manchester are seeking a Health & Social Care Tutor to start with them from April 2019.

* Full time Health & Social Care tutor required

* Town centre location and excellent public transport links available for non-drivers

* Join excellent faculty with experienced leadership in place

* Ofsted graded 'Good' College setting with history of delivering excellent results for their students

* Delivering Health & Social Care (BTEC) Level 3 Sub Diploma / Level 3 Extended Diploma

Our client is a large and diverse college specialising in Advanced level courses, which OFSTED graded as 'Good' in their most recent inspection (2016). They have an excellent reputation for academic and vocational achievement, comprehensive pastoral care and extensive enrichment which makes them an attractive option for students in the local community along with Health and Social Care teachers looking for their next position. Located in the centre of Oldham, and a short walk from a tram stop, the college is an ideal work place for non-drivers, but does also have secure parking and good locality to the M60 motorway for those who drive.

The successful application will join a successful department in the college and be given access to a range of professional development courses, along with tailored support from an experienced faculty so those who have recently qualified to teach will also be taken into consideration as those who are more experienced practitioners.

Requirements of Health and Social Care tutor position;

* PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification

* Specialism in Health and Social Care/Social Sciences

* Previous experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care

* Commitment to a fixed term position after Easter
