The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take on an important role supporting secondary schools by:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Managing classroom behaviour following school policies
  • Ensuring students remain focused, engaged and on task
  • Providing additional help to students with special educational or additional needs
  • Creating a positive learning environment and acting as a role model for young people

This is a great way to gain practical experience and confidence working in schools, without the responsibility of planning or marking.
