Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Farnborough, with opportunities to start as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Maintain a calm, purposeful and engaging classroom environment
• Support behaviour management in line with school policies
• Supervise classes across a range of subjects
• Offer additional support to students with SEN or additional learning needs
• Encourage positive engagement and build strong relationships with students

This is a fantastic stepping‑stone into teaching, providing essential classroom experience highly valued by teacher training providers.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from individuals who have:

• Experience working with secondary‑aged students (e.g. youth work, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, classroom assistance)
• Confidence managing groups and adapting to different lessons
• The ability to support students with SEN and additional needs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport
• A proactive, enthusiastic and resilient approach
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
