The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons to students across KS3 & KS4
• Maintain a focused, calm and positive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supervise classes across a range of subjects
• Offer support to students with special educational needs or additional needs
• Build strong relationships while inspiring students to stay engaged and motivated

This role provides genuine insight into life in a secondary school, making it an ideal stepping‑stone into teaching.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Have experience working with young people of secondary age
• Can confidently manage a classroom and adapt quickly to new situations
• Are able to support students with SEN or additional learning needs
• Communicate clearly and build positive rapport with learners
• Are enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting young people
• Are considering teaching as a long‑term career or seeking school‑based experience

Graduates from all degree backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply — no formal teaching qualification is required.
