Are you ready to begin a rewarding career in teaching? Our two-year Teacher Training program in Fareham offers a unique opportunity to gain practical classroom experience, receive tailored training, and work towards achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
This program combines the benefits of working in a school environment with structured professional development, ensuring you are fully supported from day one. By the end of the two years, you will have the skills, confidence, and qualifications needed to thrive as a teacher.
What You’ll Gain
- In-School Experience: From the very start, you will be based in a Fareham school, immersed in daily classroom life. You’ll support pupils across a range of ages and abilities, gradually taking on more teaching responsibility as your confidence grows.
- Structured Training: Alongside your school-based role, you’ll take part in a bespoke CPD and training program. This includes workshops on lesson planning, behaviour management, inclusive education, assessment, safeguarding, and effective use of technology.
- Mentorship and Support: Each trainee is paired with an experienced mentor within their school. You’ll receive regular guidance, feedback, and encouragement, ensuring that you make steady progress throughout the program.
- Progression to QTS: Year 1 focuses on developing your skills through hands-on experience and targeted training. In Year 2, you will complete your Initial Teacher Training (ITT), leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this program, you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in any subject (essential).
- GCSEs, including Mathematics and English.
- A Levels in any subject (desirable).
