Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Fareham)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Fareham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience and make a real difference to pupils who require additional support.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support to students with a range of learning needs.

• Work alongside teachers to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated support.

• Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and develop independence.

• Support students’ social, emotional and behavioural development.

• Help create an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

This role is ideal for:

• Experienced Teaching Assistants or Learning Mentors.

• Graduates looking to gain SEN or classroom experience before pursuing teacher training, psychology, or education careers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
