Pay: £130–£150 per day

Are you a passionate graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ready to start your teaching career in a supportive and welcoming primary school in the BS39 area?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on your first full-time teaching role, working with young learners in a school that values enthusiasm, creativity, and a child-centred approach to education.

The Role:

  • Support and guide a Key Stage 1 class in developing core skills in literacy and numeracy.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in your pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Show commitment to high standards of teaching, behaviour, and professional development.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A newly qualified or recently qualified teacher with QTS.
  • Knowledgeable and confident in the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Energetic, positive, and eager to grow within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Committed to inclusive teaching and the individual progress of all pupils.
  • Passionate about helping children flourish in their early years of education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
