Start Date: September
Pay: £130–£150 per day

The Role:
- Inspire and guide a Key Stage 1 class, fostering essential skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and provide effective pastoral care, identifying any safeguarding concerns promptly.
- Deliver creative and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in all pupils.
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support children's individual progress.
- Uphold and promote high standards of teaching, behaviour, and professionalism.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Enthusiastic about teaching and supporting children in the early years of their education.
- Confident in delivering phonics, early reading, and early maths.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to meet the varied needs of young learners.
- Strong communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Passionate, nurturing, and committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
