Graduate Cover Supervisor – Flexible & Full-Time Work Available | BL6 Secondary School

Location: BL6 area
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier)
Work Pattern: Flexible days OR full-time (your choice!)
Pay: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

We’re working closely with a forward-thinking secondary school in the BL6 area, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, that is seeking confident, adaptable graduates to join their team as Cover Supervisors from September.

Whether you’re interested in full-time work or want the flexibility to work around other commitments, this role gives you the chance to build valuable school-based experience and make a real impact — without needing QTS.

What you’ll do:

  • Step into the classroom to deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers.

  • Maintain a calm and focused learning environment.

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.

  • Support students with questions and encourage engagement.

  • Report back to teaching staff on class progress and behaviour.

✅ We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in any subject and a strong interest in education.

  • Communicates confidently with young people and adults.

  • Is calm, resilient, and comfortable managing a classroom.

  • Can commit to at least 2–3 days per week (or full-time).

  • Has previous experience in a school, tutoring, mentoring or youth work (desirable, not essential).
