Join the Geography faculty within a smaill secondary school in Salford from September 2020.
This position will initially be offered on a full-time temporary basis for two terms, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position from April 2021.
- Full time Geography teacher required, September 2020 start.
- Must be able to teach Geography across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum).
- Small mixed comprehensive 11-16 secondary school in Salford.
- Situated near to the M602 motorway, accessible via public transportation links.
The incoming Geography teacher will have the opportunity to create diverse lessons that cater to the needs of each pupil to ensure progress is being made, and will have full access to resources and learning spaces throughout the department. With fewer than 800 pupils on roll at present, the school is significantly smaller than the national average. Due to the catchment area, the cohort of pupils is diverse, with a high proportion of pupils having English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Located in central Salford, our partner secondary school can be easily reached via the M602 motorway. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that provide a direct route to the school from neighbouring areas Leigh, Bolton and Trafford.
