Job Vacancy: Full-Time Geography Teacher
Location: Secondary School, Preston
Contract Dates: November 3rd – February 2026

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Geography Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Preston. This fixed-term position runs from November 3rd until February 2026.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons to secondary school students, helping them develop their knowledge and skills in the subject. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher looking to contribute to a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that meet curriculum requirements

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and achievement

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Manage classroom resources and maintain a safe learning environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support department and whole-school initiatives

Person Specification:

  • Qualified teacher status with experience teaching Geography

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography education

  • Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Commitment to supporting student development and wellbeing

Contract Details:

  • Full-time role, term-time only

  • Fixed-term contract from November 3rd to February 2026
