Full-Time Geography Teacher
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Contract: Fixed-term (1st September 2025 – 17th July 2026)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the world of Geography? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our committed and supportive team at our vibrant secondary school in Preston.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position from 1st September 2025 until 17th July 2026, covering a period of leave.

The Role:

  • Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that foster a love of the subject

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

  • Monitor and support student progress, providing high-quality feedback and intervention as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have a strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Be committed to raising achievement and promoting high expectations

  • Be a reflective practitioner who is eager to grow professionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
