Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a specialist SEN school based in Northwich who are seeking an SEN Teacher to start in September. The school are looking for an individual who has a strong background in SEN and is passionate about inclusivity and supporting young students.

About the role:

  • Start- date: TBC in September
  • Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for a permanent contract

As an SEN KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students with various disabilities and/or learning difficulties. You will assess individual student abilities, develop personalized education plans, and adapt teaching methods and materials accordingly. The role involves collaborating closely with parents, other teachers, and support staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment. Additionally, you will also maintain detailed records and stay updated on best practices and legal requirements related to special education.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS in Primary Education with strong knowledge of SEN
  • Extensive experience working with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to date knowledge of SEN Teaching techniques and behavioural management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
