This opportunity is ideal for a teacher seeking a new challenge within the Geography department of a secondary school.
- Full-time Geography teacher.
- Secondary school in Bury.
- Required from September 2025.
- Teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
- Paid to teaching scale point (M1 – UPS3)
Our client secondary school is based in Bury and can be accessed via the M66, M62 and A56 from surrounding areas including Rochdale, Bolton, Prestwich and Blackburn.. For candidates who do not drive, the school can also be easily accessed via public transport from the neighbouring areas of central Manchester.
The school has around 900 pupils on roll and has recently been refurbished with modern facilities. The school is Ofsted graded ‘Good’ and is known for its excellent reputation across schools in the area.
The incoming teacher will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated Geography lessons to meet the needs of pupils at varying levels of learning ability. The successful candidate will be given full planning and marking responsibilities alongside teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience teaching Geography up to GCSE level alongside a teaching qualification and QTS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
