Job description

A thriving secondary school in Salford is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to get started, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic Humanities department.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Planning and delivering creative, curriculum-aligned lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Bringing Geography to life by connecting content to real-world issues and current affairs

  • Supporting student progress through high-quality assessment and feedback

  • Building strong relationships with students and contributing to a positive classroom culture

  • Engaging in wider school life, including trips, clubs, and departmental initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • A genuine passion for teaching Geography and inspiring young minds

  • Excellent classroom management and a commitment to inclusive practice

  • Willingness to collaborate and take part in continued professional development

  • Open to applications from ECTs – support and guidance will be provided
