Full-Time | Permanent | Salary: £30,000 – £47,000 (DOE)

A well-regarded secondary school in the North-East Manchester area, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Geography teacher to join their committed team. About the Role:
As a Geography teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stages. You'll contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and play a key role in helping students reach their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons that foster a love for the subject

Prepare students for assessments and examinations to ensure strong academic outcomes

Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports student development

Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching practices

Inspire curiosity about the world and develop students’ geographical thinking
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
-
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching

Excellent classroom management and communication skills
-
Commitment to student progress and academic excellence
Requirements:

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service

References covering the last 24 months
-
Availability for interviews and/or trial days
