General Teaching Assistant - Bury

There is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support the pupils and teachers in the Year 5 class. This larger than average sized Primary school, based in Radcliffe, Bury (M26) and the role will be starting in the 15th April and carry on until the end of the academic year.

Within this role, you will be expected to support the class room teacher, up-holding the schools high standards of behaviour. You will also be expected to lead small group interventions to raise attainment in Mathematics and Literacy.

This 'Good' graded Primary School has an excellent reputation, due to the very high standard of teaching throughout both Key Stages. The children within this school make rapid and outstanding progress in reading, writing and math's. The children are very well behaved and are friendly and proud of their achievements. They really enjoy learning and going to school.

This Primary School is constantly working to raise attainment levels across both key stages, and therefor wants to recruit a Teaching Assistant who has a real passion to help their students to excel in their learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is looking to progress in their career.

The school has a very supportive system for all staff member and teachers/ Teaching Assistants are encouraged to flourish in their careers.
