Science teacher required for a maternity cover commencing at Easter to December 2017. This large mixed comprehensive school with over 1200 students is academically successful and has a high achieving Science department. The school are looking for a Science teacher who specialises in Chemistry but experience teaching across the Science curriculum.

Situated in the SK7 post code of Stockport, this is a traditional secondary school with low levels of students eligible for free school meals. The successful Science teacher will be expected to hit the ground running with planning, marking and assessment but will be provided with regular support and department meetings.

Academically the school has improved steadily for the past 3 years achieving well above borough and national averages with 67% of students getting 5 A*-C grades or more. Teaching Personnel are recruiting for this client school on a long term supply basis with candidates being interviewed prior to the Easter holidays.
