The Role

As a flexible Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining the learning process for teachers during their absences. The main responsibility is to supervise and engage the students in pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects. This offers a unique opportunity to allow personal growth as well as making a considerable difference on students’ education and their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Supervise and manage the classrooms during teacher absences whilst ensuring a conductive learning environment.

-          Deliver pre-planned lessons.

-          Adopt an engaging and positive learning environment.

-          Maintain classroom discipline and ability to handle behavioural issues which arise in accordance with school policies.

-          Work with teaching staff to ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

-          A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

-          A Bachelor’s Degree in education or a relevant field is advantageous.

-          Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect to students and colleagues effectively.

-          Ability to Adapt and flexible to handle different subject areas and classroom environments.

-          Have a passion for education, positive attitude and genuine interest in supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

-          Right to work in the UK.
