Are you a final year PGCE student looking for a role in September?
Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of East Lancashire secondary schools who are seeking NQT's for the new academic year. I work with a range of mainstream secondary schools in Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson, Colne and Bacup and many of them are seeking NQT's in various subjects to start in September.
Teaching Personnel can assist you in signing off your NQT year and your placement in a secondary school could lead to a permanent position!
The roles will involve the full planning, preparation and delivery of engaging lessons in your subject and the candidate must be committed to making a positive impact in their department. Many schools will expect the candidate to assist with intervention lessons and 'homework clubs'.
The candidate will be enthusiastic, driven and confident in delivering their subject and must have strong behaviour management skills as many of the pupils in the East Lancashire schools can display challenging behaviour.
