Job description

GCSE Tutor – Ashton-under-Lyne (OL6 / OL7)

We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable GCSE Tutors to support learners in Ashton-under-Lyne (OL6 / OL7). This is an exciting opportunity to help pupils prepare for their exams with confidence, whether they need support in Maths, English, or Science.

As a GCSE Tutor, you’ll deliver 1:1 sessions that focus on bridging knowledge gaps, developing exam techniques, and building self-belief. Many learners may have fallen behind or require additional support outside the classroom. Lessons will be held face-to-face in homes or local community venues.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English or Science up to GCSE level

  • Experience teaching or tutoring at secondary/GCSE stage

  • Ability to plan engaging, structured sessions around the exam syllabus

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
