Humanities Teacher – Blackpool
Start date: October 2025
Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Blackpool. This is an excellent opportunity to teach a combination of subjects across the humanities faculty, such as History, Geography, and Religious Education, depending on your specialism and the school’s needs.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
- Teach one or more Humanities subjects (flexibility around specialism)
- Contribute to curriculum planning, student assessment, and enrichment opportunities
- Support students in developing analytical thinking, empathy, and a global perspective
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- A degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, RE, etc.)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for promoting humanities education and a reflective teaching approach
- ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
