Nursery Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Cardiff (CF24)

Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant

 Location: Cardiff City Centre (CF24)

Salary: £89.35 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Full-Time

Your Role:

  • Support children aged 3-4 in their early learning journey.
  • Provide general assistance to the classroom teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly.
  • Engage with children through play and exploration, fostering a joyful, creative environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a supportive, team-focused atmosphere.
  • ✨ Offer one-on-one or small group support tailored to children’s individual learning needs.
  • Supervise children during breaks, ensuring their safety and promoting positive play.
  • Maintain an encouraging, nurturing classroom environment to help children thrive.
  • ✅ Follow school policies and uphold high standards of professionalism.

  • Experience working with young children (desirable but not essential).

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) – must be completed before starting.
  • EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council).
