Your Role:

As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils and teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You will:
• Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils
• Work with learners individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
• Support students with additional learning needs and/or behavioural needs
• Help maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
• Encourage, motivate, and inspire pupils to achieve their best

• Have experience working with young people (school-based or transferable experience)
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and patience to your role
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Are adaptable and supportive in a classroom setting

Essential Requirements:

• EWC Registration (Support category – or willingness to apply)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Two recent references from educational or childcare settings
