Initially on a fixed term contract for the duration of the academic year, there is a permanent opportunity within the department for the successful candidate to potentially fill. This Ofsted 'Good' academy would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).

Our partner academy is located close to the Trafford Park area of Salford and was rated by 'Good' in all areas by Ofsted in 2015. The academy is smaller than average, with just over 600 students currently in attendance and Ofsted have stated that the behaviour of students is 'good', with 'the most-able pupils making good progress' across a range of subjects. The campus is located a short drive from the M60 motorway and is close to local public transport links.

As a Food Technology at our partner school in Salford, the incoming teacher will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to both KS3 and KS4 level. Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking will be included in this role, although the Technology department have a strong passion for collaborative planning and sharing resources. Experience of teaching other areas of Technology including Resistant Materials, Textiles or Product Design is desirable but not essential to this role.
