At Teaching Personnel we are looking for teachers to join our ever expanding team, to work in the South Manchester area. This role does not require any teacher specific experience but does require you to be educated to at least degree level or have experience in a relevant childcare role. This role will involve you covering classes for Teachers and taking on the responsibility of leading that class. However, that responsibility does not include planning or marking, meaning your day begins and end in the school and there are no obligations outside of the working day.

Key information about the role:

  • Pay will be £12.30 an hour at a minimum, this will be higher for Teachers and those with experience.
  • The schools will all be in the Manchester central area.
  • You will be required to work with many different schools within the area and will have the ability to set your preferences.
  • Hours will be 8:15am – 3:15pm with some slight variation depending on the school, we will always be considerate with short notice cover to allow the educator to arrive in a reasonable time.
  • The classes you will be covering are KS3 and KS4
  • The schools are all close to good public transport links in the Manchester central area.
  • You must be located in the UK to be eligible for this role.
  • We also offer invigilation roles that are available during the exam season.

The role is available for an immediate start, with you getting work as soon as you are cleared by our vetting team. Our aim is to always find you the role you want ensuring that you are happy in the school you are placed in.

The vetting process to clear you for work should only take as long as the DBS does, but to ensure the process is as efficient as possible, please have 3 references ready from your most recent employers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
