The Headteacher and governing body of a 1 form entry Primary School in Preston are keen to secure a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work with children in their pre-school. They are looking for inspiring and enthusiastic TA who wants to develop their skills and gain experience within the school environment. You will be working alongside 2 other members of staff who are well equipped with excellent resources which create a fun and stimulating learning environment for children! You will be working in a class with 3–4-year-olds, the behaviour is good as they are engaged with a creative curriculum.
The Pre School team leader is keen to develop the knowledge of the successful TA through regular contact and discussions. The school ethos promotes believing their children can achieve what they put their minds too, this emphasises the fact that you will need to be creative in the classroom in delivering assistance to children. The Pre School team leader is wanting the candidates to be available to do a trial morning with the children they will then base their final decision on this.
In order to be considered you must be able to provide details of two referees including one from your most recent employer. You will also need EYFS experience. To conclude, this role is from Monday-Friday to start ASAP. The working hours for this role are 8:15-15:45. The rate of pay for this job is competitive starting from GBP10.20 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
