Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Liverpool. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed and who can contribute to creating a positive, well-managed learning environment.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
- Supporting students with their learning during lessons
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour
- Providing tailored 1:1 or small‑group support when required
Desirable Experience
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working 1:1 with students
- Experience supporting SEN (Special Educational Needs) pupils
- Previous experience in a school or youth support setting (not essential but beneficial)

- Patient, reliable, and committed to supporting young people
- Able to follow teacher direction and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
- Confident in building rapport with students of different ages and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
