Your new role
The position is due to start as soon as possible working in a primary school either fulltime monday to friday or part time 5 x half days. The setting caters for all ages from EYFS up to Year 6 but you will be required to support within the schools foundation stage. As an early years worker you will be working across the setting with key children providing learning support and working closely with staff in the planning and leading of activities in line with the EYFS framework. You will be responsible for the children and ensuring safeguarding is followed at all times.
What you will need to be successful
You will need an NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent with recent experience working with this age group. You will need in depth knowledge of the EYFS and up to date knowledge of safeguarding within EYFS. You will also be communicating with parent and carers of pupils and will need to be able to build good rapports and feedback on development.
