We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is looking for a full time work in the borough of Barnet. The school is well respected within the local area and is a nursey and infant school; recently rewarded 'Good' by Ofsted. The schools philosophy is to provide a safe and caring environment for all pupils, where academic attainment and a supportive senior leadership team go hand in hand. The school are looking for an experienced TA who has had experience working in a nursery or in EYFS and is in possession of a Cache Level 2 or 3 in Childcare Education.

Your everyday task will include supporting a class full of pupils with differing learning abilities. The class sizes do vary but usually consist of around 14 to 21 students who have excellent behaviour. Additionally, you will support the class teacher with various activities throughout the day. You will have 7 key children I which you will be responsible for providing observations and feeding back progress to both the nursery manager and parents. Additionally, if you have any experience working with vulnerable children in a classroom environment with any learning difficulties such as: Autism, Down Syndrome, or Hearing and Visual Impairment; we would like to here from you!
Competencies
- Cache Level 2 or 3 in Childcare Education
- 1yrs Experience working in a Nursery
- First Aid or Safeguarding Qualification
- Available to work Full Time or Part time
- Degree in Education
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
