A lovely two form entry mainstream school is Islington are looking for a Early Years Teacher to join their EYFS team in March. This mainstream school is located in the heart of the Islington community and has recently expanded their EYFS department. The school is a short walk from Archway (Northern line) and Upper Holloway stations (National rail).

Pay: £2200-£2700 per month

The School:

The school follows a Catholic ethos where the children are encouraged to learn and grow in the connection with the Catholic values and beliefs. The school offers a supportive environment for the staff and children. The staff and children work together as a team to achieve the school's objectives.

In addition the school has fantastic facilities which accommodate student's interests out of the classroom. The facilities include two enclosed outdoor sport pitches, a large playground including a nature area, separate conference room with kitchen facilities and a large hall with a new sound system. The EYFS department has recently been expanded and renovated.

In the EYFS department the teaching of phonics is introduced, where environmental sounds are introduced. The Nelson handwriting scheme is adhered to at the school, whilst the RE studies at the school begins in EYFS - allowing the children to gain a general understanding of the Catholic ethos.
