EYFS Teaching Assistant – Garston Primary School (ASAP Start)

Location: Garston
Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour
Contract: Long-term – full time

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs in their early years? A welcoming primary school in Garston is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to start immediately in a long-term role.

About the Role

  • Work 1:1 with a loving and happy boy in EYFS who has ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), global developmental delay, and is non-verbal.
  • Deliver play-based learning activities to encourage engagement, communication, and development.
  • Provide consistency and emotional support, building a strong, trusting relationship.
  • Assist with personal care and ensure the child’s comfort and wellbeing throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to reports for EHCP reviews.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
