EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury
A primary school in the Whitefield, Bury (M45) area is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in the reception class room supporting a child with special educational needs. The child has learning difficulties so the role will consist of 1:1 support within the classroom to help the child engage in activities and personal care.
This is a full time role supporting a pupil with Autism and learning difficulties. This role will last until the end of the academic year with a possibility of moving onto a permanent school contract.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
- Previous experience using the EYFS framework
- A calm and nurturing approach to learning
The primary school is located in the heart of Whitefield and has excellent links to the local community. The Bury primary school puts emphasis on knowing the children's needs and carefully planning their education so that each can reach their full potential and creating a safe nurturing environment which listens to each pupil. It has a strong senior leadership team to support all staff.
