Job Opportunity: EYFS Practitioner – Immediate Start
Location: Wigan
Pay Rate: £100 - £150 / day
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time roles available
About the Role:
We are seeking professionals who can foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children across Early Years, with availability for immediate starts across a range of part-time and full-time roles. These roles are perfect for individuals with a genuine passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent (this is essential).
- Familiarity with the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
- A passion for supporting young children’s development and early learning.
- An Enhanced Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Experience working in Early Years or a similar childcare setting.
- A good understanding of continuous provision, outdoor learning, and phonics schemes (desirable).
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote early learning through creative and structured play.
- Support the development and wellbeing of children aged 0–5.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe environment.
- Observe and record progress in line with EYFS guidelines.
- Support children with different needs and learning styles, including SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
