EYFS Practitioner – September 2025 Start
Location: Wigan & Warrington
Pay Rate: £89.44 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flexible Roles Available
We are currently looking to recruit passionate and committed EYFS Practitioners to work in a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools and early years settings across Wigan and Warrington from September 2025.
These roles are perfect for early years professionals who are dedicated to supporting the learning and development of children in their crucial early stages. Opportunities are available for both long-term and day-to-day supply roles, with the potential for permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Support the social, emotional, and physical development of children.
- Assist with monitoring and recording children’s progress, contributing to observations and assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding policies at all times.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (through employment or placements).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early learning goals.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
- Experience supporting children with additional needs.
- Phonics training (e.g., Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds).
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
