Job Type: Part-time, 12.15pm-18.15pm Monday- Friday (Annual Leave with a 2-week Christmas closure)

Salary: £14.15- £15.30 per hour

Start date: September 2025 (As soon as possible)

A primary school in the Tameside area are seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Lead Early Years Practitioner within their 2-year-old room. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children develop in the Early Years Foundations Stage, with the opportunity for the temporary role to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to age 2 children.
• Confident with leading elements of the EYFS Framework.
• Supporting children’s learning and development through continuous provision and play-based activities.
• Working closely with other support staff to create a safe, stimulating environment.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children in EYFS.
• Holds a relevant qualification (in line with the new EYFS Framework guidance).
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Is proactive, patient, and nurturing with excellent communication skills.
•  Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• First Aid Paediatrics trained (desirable but not essential).
